"Shilpa -To the Glimpse of light 2021"

 Today class started with a prayer. As there was camp for seniors we had only optional period. So today we conducted our micro teachings. Yesterday athira, gayathri, Ancy were done it very well. With lots of excitement and a bit of stress I entered the classroom. Gopika started Microteaching followed by sister, kavya, lekshmi, Sandra and Renju took their topic very well. Finally I took Microteaching on the topic Ionisation energy. All of them appreciated me. That gave me a new spirit.  Between these section we all created a video on the different skills of Microteaching. I made the video on the skill was skill of questioning.  That was a nice day😊😊

 After prayer class started. 

 First period Maya teacher interesting class, then Archana teacher enthusiastic class then next two period engaged by our beloved principal. He taught that Teaching should be an Aa ha experience. Make it possible. Sir gave an interesting activity to us. We were divided into 3 groups on the basis of first born child, last child and middle child. Then we discussed the advantages and disadvantages of these three. That was so interesting.  After that joju sir engaged. 

 Today first period was yoga. Sir taught new yogasana. Then Maya tr came and introduce the topic realism. Really marvallous. Then on Ancy teacher engaged and she completed first lesson. Then a new teacher Archana came and taught psychology lesson.  Afternoon Gibi teacher class was so interesting. At first teacher shared the quote about" uthaman". We discussed the inner meaning of the words, അച്ഛനെ കൊന്നു, ഗുരുവിനെ തോല്പിച്ചു, അമ്മക്കു കൊടുക്കാതെ ഭാര്യക്കു കൊടുക്കുന്ന അയാൾ ഉത്തമന്‍".on moving to the topic teacher introduced How horse drink water. That was an ironic question. The hidden intention was how to handle students in teaching process. We shared different points. After that we decorated our class alo   Neena teacher. At last club formation takes place. I choose Ecco club. Deepthi teacher is our leading head. 

 Today was our first assembly in MTTC. Med students conducted it so energetically. I remembered my schooldays😊. Prayer, pledge, news reading, thought of the day etc were included in that. AGNI 2020-22 that was their association name. The official inauguration of their association are also included. Our principal Benedict sir inaugurated and gave a valuable message and a thought for us. He shared the knowledge about Chinese bamboo tree. The assembly concluded by Raghu sir speech. It was very nice one. Then first two periods engaged by our Neena teacher. We discussed about the programs for celebrating science day. After teacher taught steps in scientific method. Next period a new sir came to study art and aesthetic. He was so talented and he made the class energetic and funny. We done some exercises and enjoyed it. Then on Gibi teacher engaged. She taught the Learning experiences. The story about Thankama was thought provoking. And also our classmate Ancy sung a song. Afternoon Maya tea

 After prayer our principal announced the inaugural ceremony of phonetic lab conducted by English department. All are attended that event. After that Ancy teacher came and taught a new theory called kohlberg morality theory. Then on joju sir engaged. He shared the points behind the educational technology. Then next Maya teacher came and taught about features of naturalism. The class end up with Megha's song.Next our optional. Neena teacher couldn't attend the class. Instead she gave an assignment for us. We done it well. After lunch break Gibi teacher engaged. Last period joju sir came and shared the topic about media. The day ended. 

 Today class started with Jibi teacher. After refreshing earlier topics teacher told  the competencies behind the teachers. She asked a question to us that how bats gave birth to their children? In fact l don't know how to happened this. Nobody answered correctly. Finally teacher revealed that truth. By telling this example teacher reminded us that we are unaware about the small thing happened in our own surroundings. After that enthusiastic class Maya teacher came. And shared the points related to naturalism.The class end up with a small video. That include the agricultural activities of Jawahar Navodaya school in vithura.The students and teachers are participated well in that process. We feel proud in that moment.  Then optional period Neena teacher came and taught about scientific attitudes. Afternoon Malayalam and social science department conducted their talent hunt. Thus our talent hunt days ended up. 

 After prayer class started. Today we had a motivation class about Understanding of Teaching and Learning by Dr. G. V. Hari sir. From 9.30 to 12 clock sir engaged. Brilliant, enthusiastic class. Without pen and paper we understand and reminded all his points. He sung kunjunni mash song with the help of an instrument like dolak. I enjoyed it very much. Where you are? Understand the concepts related to education, and what is teacher personality?that was his main topic. He concluded his class by saying the WORD A SMILE. Indicating appreciate, support, monitoring, involvement love, empathy respectively. After interactive session some students gave feedback and our brother Albin sung a song  dedicated to sir. Class windup with a pic with Hari sir Afternoon there was talent hunt program for natural science and English optional. All of them performed well

 Unforgettable day😍Our first talent hunt... After prayer, yoga class and then Maya teacher engaged. Teacher taught about naturalism. In fact I couldn't concentrate on that class. Because We were in an excitement.What would be our programme. Later Ancy teacher took the class. Afternoon our bed talent hunt started. Mathematics department was the first team. They all performed well. That was very enthusiastic. Behind all their events they hide a surprise to us. It was so enjoyable. Then next turn was ours. We solasta stars.. 💪💪         Nikhil and Dana were comparing persons Program started with Pooja dance. Me and greeshma were participated. Then Nikhil, sister, ranju joined with us for indicating mathamythri. Then greeshma, Gopika, sister, kavya, Elsa and Georgia presented group  song. Then Gayatri sung her own Kavita. Beautiful lyrics with beautiful singing. Then our music play. Girl child that was our theme. All are participated well. Then we were participated in group dance. Fi

 This was one of  the happiest days in this week. At 9am onwards our official inauguration and PTA general body started. Ancy and Fathima were anchoring team. Program started with prayers comprising bhagavath geetha, khuran and Holly Bible. Then our principal Benedict sir welcomed everyone to the function. Later our chief guest Prof. Dr Prasad sir inaugurated the function and gave a wonderful speech. Then he gave gifts to some students who qualified net, and rank holders in university exams. Our principal presented a momento to our guest. Then sweets delivery besides a card contain quotes given by students to all. "Happiness is not something ready-made, it comes from your own action"-I got these words by Dalai Lama 14. The program ended with teabreak. Afternoon section our talent hunt Programe started by Med students. Really enjoyable performances. We are also waiting for our Programe.... 😎

 The day started with prayer. First period Gibi tea her came. Teacher summarize the topics that we had already studied. Then introduced new topic Nature of psychology. Teacher shared the mantra behind our life 'Shrink the glass of expectations'. We enjoyed the class very much. After that Maya teacher came. She taught the topic idealism. At the end of the class teacher gave an opportunity to our brother to sing a song. It was very interesting. Next two periods were our optional. Neena teacher came. Then she appreciated me for bringing duster in the class. Also she appreciated my friends for prepare organogram. That was really a new work.  Solasta means shining that was our family name. Teacher taught about classification behavior, dimension and divices of teaching. Teacher shared the idea behind the famous words of Confucius that"Give a man a fish, and you will feed him for a day.  After prayer Maya teacher came

 After prayer we had a yoga class. Master introduced vajrasana and other basic techniques.  After relaxing mind and body Maya teacher came and taught about the connection between philosophy and education. Teacher said that these two were the two sides of the same coin. Then she gave a game to understand the animal inside us. I got the features of panda🐼😅 Next period Ancy teacher came and taught stages of development. Then our optional period. Neena teacher prepare an organogram, selected each students and assigned them different post. I am selected as action plan coordinator. And gave detailed information about our duties. We were all happy. After lunch break we went to library and took some books. Then in  joju sir period sir continued the panel discussion of remaining groups. All the members presented excellently. Sir appreciated everyone. And concluded that Teaching is amoral, either moral or immoral.  Last period we discussed and planned programs for talent hunt. Really enjoyed t

Today first period was optional. Our Neena teacher started the class with a quotes              Thinking makes words               Words leads to action                Action become behavior                Behavior shows personality.  She taught about teachers behavior and the class was so energetic. After that Gibi teacher came and started the class by saying the words, " I am OK, you are also OK". She taught about the psychoanalytic theory and stages of Freud. Then joju sir engaged. In that period we conducted presentation of our 8 groups in the panel discussion. That was really wonderful and informative. Only 3 groups presented their points on the topics, dangers of technology and benefit of technology in education field. After lunch break Maya teacher taught the remaining topic in the second Chapter. Then Ancy teacher shared the stages of Erick Erickson's theory. Last period was PT. We engaged in minor games, chess etc.  A nice day🙂

 After prayer Ancy teacher came and first period started with a topic,"Erickson's theory of development". She introduced the eight stages of it. Then we got an opportunity to see our seniors art and aesthetic programme on auditorium. It was really wonderful. All of them performed well in a limited time schedule.  After that Maya teacher came and taught what is philosophy and it's basic features. She ended the class with Aristotle words"everyone follows philosophy whether he is aware of it or not". After that our Neena teacher came in optional period. Then Greeshma prepared a chart describing covid protocol hand over to teacher.             After lunch break optional period continued. In that time teacher gave  an activity to prepare our personal information including why we opt this stream a, what is our aim, and what we expect from our teacher etc. Then she taught different types of teaching. Last two periods engaged by joju sir. Sir prepared us to sing our

 This was a reflective day in my life. The fist day in February gave us a mind blowing experience. After the prayer from 9.30 to 12.30 Mr. Joby sir, a master trainer handled the session on the topic "Reflective self discovery". It was an ice breaking one. Through his class he trained us  how to become a good teacher? and what are the important qualities of a teacher? how to handle the students, and the importance of saying'NO'in wrong and fake situations. He also check our concentration through a small activity. Really an informative, enjoyable class  Afternoon Maya teacher came and explained about the functions and 3 levels of education. Thus she finished 1st chapter.  Later jojusir explained various aspects of technology. The day ended with PT. We played lamb and lion game. Have a nice day😊😊
